By accessing or using the Eternity Bible Progressive Web App, or any version of the application available on official App Stores ("the App") and any services provided by the creator of Eternity Bible ("We," "Us," or "Our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of the terms, you must discontinue use of the App immediately.
The App is a free-to-use digital service, accessible via a Progressive Web Application (PWA) and dedicated applications available on various official application stores. The App provides users with access to digital Bible content, customizable settings, and the ability to save simple, personalized names and settings associated with the content. The App is provided free of charge, "as is," and we provide no express or implied license beyond the right to use the App for its intended purpose.
a. Account Creation:
To use certain features, you may create an account using our third party auth system which is built into the app. You may use the App without creating an account. If you choose to create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
b. No PII Required:
The App is designed to operate without requiring or soliciting Personally Identifiable Information (PII) beyond the data collected by the authentication provider (e.g., email address, if used for login).
c. Account Deletion (Termination by User):
You may delete your account at any time through the App's account management settings. Account deletion is effective immediately and results in the permanent deletion of your associated account data (settings and names).
a. Our Content:
All content, features, and functionality of the App, including but not limited to the design, code, graphics, compilation of the user data structure, and the eternitybible.app name, logo, and trademarks, are and will remain the exclusive property of the creator of Eternity Bible or our partners, protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You're may use the app, but you may not copy or resell it without written approval.
b. Excluded Content (Third-Party IP):
The following content is not owned by Us, and your use is governed by their respective licenses:
• Bible Content (text, audio, concordances, study notes, cross references): All digital Bible content is subject to the copyright and licensing terms of the original publisher or translation authority. Please review the translations page within the app for attribution requirements and usage restrictions. Be mindful of third-party content (verses, etc.) when sharing outside the app.
• Third-Party Libraries: The underlying third-party software libraries (open-source components, etc.) are owned by their respective copyright holders.
c. User-Generated Content (UGC):
You retain ownership of all original data you create within the App (e.g., custom names for Bibles or simple notes you may be allowed to save). By creating this content, you grant Us a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, copy, and display your UGC solely for the purpose of operating and improving the App service.
a. Prohibited Conduct:
You agree not to use the App for any unlawful purpose or in any way that violates these Terms, including but not limited to:
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the App or its related systems or networks.
• Using the service to store, process, or transmit any illegal, harmful, or abusive content.
• Engaging in activity that places an unreasonable load on our infrastructure (e.g., botting, excessive or automated content creation).
b. Termination by Creator (Our Discretion):
We may terminate or suspend your account access immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason in Our sole and absolute judgment, including without limitation, if you breach the Terms.
• This right explicitly includes termination for the misuse of the App, such as creating excessive, high-volume content (e.g., names or settings) that is not actually humanly usable or is intended to strain or exploit the service, as determined by the creator.
• Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease, and your associated data will be deleted.
THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING THE APP, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
In no event shall the creator of Eternity Bible be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the App; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the App; or (iii) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your content or settings.
The following terms apply when the App is obtained from the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or any similar platform ("App Store Provider"):
a. Acknowledgement:
You and We acknowledge that these Terms are concluded between You and Us only, and not with the App Store Provider. We, not the App Store Provider, are solely responsible for the App and the content thereof.
b. Maintenance and Support:
You acknowledge and agree that We are solely responsible for providing maintenance and support for the App as determined by Us. The App Store Provider has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance and support services with respect to the App. The availability of the App and service is solely at our discretion, and We reserve the right to take the App down at any time on Our own terms.
c. Third-Party Beneficiary:
You acknowledge and agree that the App Store Provider, and their subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and that, upon your acceptance of the terms and conditions of these Terms, the App Store Provider will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary thereof.

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Wisconsin, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
We reserve the right, at Our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms & Conditions on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. By continuing to access or use the App after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
